All settlements, the rivers and lakes have names. Often, the interpretation of these names or is not specified at all, or it is specified incorrectly, proceeding from Slavic or from Turkic words. But the first Slavic immigrants appear in the territory of modern Russia not earlier than the 8-9th centuries, and the Volga Bulgars not earlier than the 2nd half of the 7th century, having dissipated among mainly Finno-Ugric tribes.
